Dr. Amy Au - Berkeley Prosthodontist

Dr. Au received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Science from the University of the Pacific. She then attended the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS).

During her studies, Dr. Au found her passion for restorative dentistry and went on to attend three additional years of training in the Advanced Prosthodontics Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and receive her Masters of Oral Science degree. She is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP).

As part of her commitment to providing her patients with cutting-edge restorative dentistry, Dr. Au stays current with the latest advancements in dentistry, including state-of-the-art technology and updated techniques and materials. She relentlessly strives for excellence and has been recognized for her achievements with numerous honors and awards, including:

Dr. Au was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a foodie and a yogi. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her significant other, Matthew, who is also a dentist.

Jane Wang, DMD

Dr. Wang is a prosthodontist trained at the University of California, San Francisco.  She received her DMD from Tufts University and certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from NYU Langone.  During her training, she was Chief Resident and was awarded for her graduate research in remineralization of caries under fluoride treatment.

Dr. Jane Wang is passionate about motivating her patients to achieve their oral health goals.  From preventative therapy to complex oral rehabilitations, Dr. Wang provides tailored treatment plans to each patient’s needs.

Currently, Dr. Wang is an associate clinical professor at the University of the Pacific, Dugoni School of Dentistry.   She enjoys mentoring dental students in dentistry and prosthodontics.  She is also involved in various outreach programs providing care to elderly populations and veterans.  She is an active member of the Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics, San Francisco Dental Society, American College of Prosthodontics, California Dental Association, and more.

Marilyn - Office Manager and Patient Coordinator

Marilyn graduated from NYCC in 1972 and has been working at Berkeley Prosthodontics since 2002. She enjoys working as part of a dedicated team and taking the time to get to know patients coming to the practice

Marilyn has resided in Alameda with her husband for 35 years. In her free time, she loves walking outdoors, belly dancing, ethnic dance, reading, and spending time with family.

Sheilia - Dental Assistant

Sheilia was born and raised in California. She moved to Atlanta Georgia where she received her Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Certificate from Gwinnett School of Dentistry. She has been in the field for over 10 years. Her favorite part of dentistry is seeing the results from cosmetic procedures and the beautiful smiles that come along with it. Sheilia is also gentle and compassionate with the patients and has good bedside manner. Sheilia's goal is to continue with her education in dentistry so she will have a thorough knowledge in all aspects of the field. 

Sheilia is married with two sons. They live in Richmond California. On her off days, Sheilia enjoys curling up with a good book, writing poetry, and family camping trips. 

jacqueline Vu - Registered Dental hygienist (RDH)

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Jacqueline graduated from Laney College with her AS and transferred to Carrington College of San Jose to complete her ASDH. Prior to receiving her hygiene license, Jacqueline completed over nine years of experience in the dental field as an RDA. She is passionate about making a positive impact on her patients' oral and overall health and committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in dental care to better serve her patients. In her free time, she enjoys playing music, traveling, and spending time with her family and sweet dog, River.

Alina S. - DENTAL Assistant

Alina has enjoyed being a Registered Dental Assistant for many years and is proud to be the newest member on Dr. Au's team. When she isn't in the office, she enjoys spending time with her cat, Polo, building puzzles, and flying kites.
